a hard day

I miss you, sweet boy.

The front that came rollin' thru the Land of Sugar yesterday...my esposo is easily fascinated by weather. He'd probably be a storm chaser if he wasn't married with 4 kids. It made for a cool pic, though.

Dang, it's been hot! Here's my reaction to Joey under-rotating his flip. His backside was bright red, poor thing.

FEAR

It's so silly, but I am so afraid to get on an airplane and fly to Colorado. It's like all my faith flies out the window...Help me, God, to trust in you. If you can hold the stars and planets in their place, then you can hold an airplane up in the air and keep us safe. Help my unbelief, Lord.

29 forever

Today is my 36th birthday. It has been a great day so far. I still miss baby so much, but today is the first day that I haven't cried. Each day it gets easier.

Here's a few choice things that actually came out of my mouth today:
"Get the cheese off your knee NOW!!!"
"Yes, sweetie. Mama will play blackjack with you since your sister won't."
"Will someone please bring me a tissue so I can wipe up these fly guts?"

It's never boring at the Hinojosas.

Baby is leaving today. It is a good situation, but hard nonetheless.
