I hate MySpace

So we thought we would allow our older 2 kids to have MySpace accounts. We thought it would be ok to allow them that freedom in the safety and structure of our home. They knew that at any time Freddy and I could log on and check their account. I don't like what I found last night. I am disappointed. Nothing huge. No one's having sex...no one's doing drugs. Just small changes. But it's the small changes that are so dangerous. These small changes are how the Enemy creeps in, sly as a fox. Until one day you are so far from God that you don't even know what happened. No major event, just small changes.

The small changes are so dangerous.

2Timothy 3:1-5
"But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God--HAVING A FORM OF GODLINESS BUT DENYING ITS POWER."

Benjamin's and Holly's consciences are still working strong, praise God. Benjamin actually came to us and confessed what had been going on before we even checked his account last night. Apparently, his Bible teacher at school said some things that really got him thinking. Thank you, God, for Mr. Gerke. There is always hope!

...God, I pray that you will restore to Benjamin and Holly the joy of your salvation. You called them when they were young and they sincerely responded to You. Help them find their way back to You...
