_________(insert expletive here)

In my constant state of having to 'get there' I got my very first speeding ticket EVER yesterday. 74 in a 55. I've been pulled over before, but I was always let off with a warning. I was driving home from Alabama one time and a Mississippi State Trooper (who, by the way, are well known for being hard-asses) pulled me over for going 98. HE let me go with a warning--made me promise not to speed until I passed the Mississippi/Louisiana border. The cop yesterday was not as nice. Oh well. I guess my streak is over.

We are going to see Switchfoot and Copeland tonight! Yesssssss.

well that sucks! I've never gotten a speeding ticket either, I always get let off. but i did get a bogus ticket by a state trooper for not maing a complete stop pulling out of greatwood....he even gave me the "you are a bad mom cause you have your kids in the car...what if you had an accident and they got hurt" speech. that was a load of __________ and I had many other words for him aswell, but I don't think it would have helped my case.

Well, if anything can cheer you up from getting a speeding ticket, it would be a Switchfoot/Copeland concert! I had to comment because I'm totally jealous that you're going. But have fun and let us know how it was!

(I'm a friend of Ashlee's, by way of introduction. Hi!)

I'm sure the concert was better than when I saw Switchfoot at the fair last year. Fair concerts are never that good.

Kim--they were amazing! To be honest, I wasn't expecting much from them. I've heard some of their live vocals before--yikes!--but his vocals were right on.

Copeland was my fave, though.
