Forget Regionals...
...WE'RE GOING TO NATIONALS!!!!
Holly's team got a bid to the Girls' Softball National Competition at the end of July! That means that they can skip regionals in San Antonio. That also means that the team will be doing a lot of fundraisers between now and then b/c it's in Aurora, Colorado! I'm so excited and so proud of my girl. This is her first year to play an organized sport and she gets to go all the way to Nationals!
This is a pic of Holly with their 5th place trophy at State. 5th place out of 28 teams...and these girls have only been playing together as a team for less than 2 months!
p.s. Is Aurora, CO, anywhere near you, Jen? I would LOVE to get together...

Aurora is outside of Denver, and I have an aunt who lives there. Perhaps she can come watch the gals play!

Rockin! Actually, Aurora is about an hour and a half away, so not too bad!! That would be totally awesome.
