FINALLY!!!
We got the call!!!
We will have the baby by early afternoon on Tuesday.
I'm so torn. I want to leap, shout, woohoo, etc. Yet someone's life has to fall apart in order for me to have a foster baby in my home. Our social worker described it best. She said it is bittersweet.
She hit the nail on the head...but I really am excited!

maybe someone's life fell apart, but that baby will have a chance for a life so much better than if you didn't become foster parents.

YES! the baby is here! and he is sooo cute. I think there are some rules and regulations that keep them from sharing pictures of his face on the internet, so I don't know if you will be able to "see" him through the blog....
What's his name and how old?
I guess I am allowed to say that his name is Michael, and today (friday) is his one week bday!
