Baby Things, Paper Work, & Fire Marshals

Paper work, paper work, paper work.

There is so much of it! But with each day we are getting closer to completing the necessary steps to become a foster family. Paper work is pretty much done--just a couple of minor things to finish.

The fire marshal came yesterday to inspect our home (I thought about you, Amy, and how excited Mason would be!). Everything is good--we just need to get our fire extinguisher serviced and then we're good to go. The 2 major things we have left are getting the dogs' vaccinations up to date ($$$) and all 6 of us need to get TB tests.

I am having so much fun looking at baby things! You'd think I was about to give birth to my own child or something! Still haven't bought anything, yet. We'll wait 'til next week when all our paper work is turned in. Did I mention there's a lot of paper work?!?

The kids don't have school tomorrow, so Freddy and I are going on a date tonight. Saltgrass! Once baby comes, that will be harder to do.

"He defends the cause of the fatherless and the widow, and loves the alien, giving him food and clothing."

Amy, we will be fostering infants 0 to 12 months although I've heard that a child can be with you for as long as 18 mos. Adoption would have to be a serious consideration then!!!

YES!!! Let's hook up!!!
