Testimony
Joey's fever is gone.
Gone.
Sleep peacefully, my love.
In my previous blog, I wrote that Joey was questioning why he was still sick, even though we had been praying. After reading Ashlee's comment to the blog I think I might know why. Maybe God wanted to strengthen the faith of Joey's precious classmates. They laid their hands on his desk and prayed that he would be healed. I was moved to tears...Joey was moved to tears.
God in Heaven, I pray that I will always rest in Your timing, not mine. If You had decided to heal Joey over the weekend, then Your power would not have been displayed to a room of 7 year olds. I pray that I will be joyful when You answer my prayers the way I want them answered, and when You don't.

His goodness is overwhelming, and so undeserved...
Their joy and excitement will be indescribable I am sure...
He is so good!
That is awesome!!!! Let me know how his class reacts to their healing prayer being answered.
I'm glad Joey feels better :)
I'm so glad he's doing better. And that is the sweetest picture ever.
These precious first graders have truly captured my heart, yet again! When I went into their class and told them they were part of a miracle, you would have thought it was Christmas. The pure, unbridled joy was literally palpable. I have already had other parents tell me their children went home and told them Joey was better because they prayed.... What a testimony!
awesome. he's a beautiful baby boy. (but don't tell him i said that...atleast the baby part. :)
i think it's wonderful you pray with your children at a young age.
